Seattle nineties grunge and metal scene is not complete without multi-platinum rock power house Candlebox that marks the 30th Anniversary of their self-titled debut album with a release of a new, live, acoustic album, entitled Live at the Neptune on June 23 via Pavement Entertainment, and a “The Long Goodbye Tour 2023”, which kicks off June 10th thru September 23 to celebrate band’s three decade career, eight studio and three live album discography, and extensive live performing and touring.
An all-female rock band PLUSH is continuing their mission to bring rock back to the forefront of the music industry with a release of a brand new single, entitled “Left Behind.”
This new fire charged hit can be reckoned as a rock anthem. “Left Behind” demonstrates the band’s heavier side led by Moriah Formica’s fierce and powerful belting with aggressive range of vocal lines such as “We’re the cast-outs of society, one big, twisted family,” fueled with ferocious riffs, down tuned guitars, over the top vocals, and blasting beats and fills of impeccable metal drumming.
Interview by Yuliya Suleymanova. Seattle, WA – Sun Valley ID.
I have been planning an interview with Carole McClellan, an American designer noted for using leather and repurposed fur for quite a while. I was trying to remember how long we’ve known each other. I believe it has been 15 years. Time flies! I have experienced the luxury of having Carole design several unique pieces.
Carole has been an incredible mentor for me. I would always seek advice from Carole on either producing a fashion show, consulting on the teaching material for my fashion marketing and branding courses, working with local fashion designers, or asking her to share fashion industry knowledge and expertise on the fashion discussion panel at the Fashion Group International, Seattle Chapter.
There are songs that not just radiate emotions but tell a compelling story. Such songs definitely stand out as their lyrics, amplified with powerful music, deeply resonate with people, with their own feelings, thoughts, and experiences. The story told in the new single "Let's Break Out" by New Jersey rockers Uncured is a mesmerizing manifestation of empowerment that encourages freedom and individuality.
The song was released on January 27, 2023 as a part of the band’s upcoming EP My Design, which is anticipated to become materialized in the summer on June 2, 2023, via Pavement Entertainment. "Let's Break Out" official music video was released on February 10.
Tel Aviv, May 20th 2022 - Oceans On Orion reveals their third single Weaponized Misery featuring a special guest - Ran Yerushalmi, a frontman of the Walkways band, taken from OOO’s upcoming album to be released soon via LMH Records. The new single offers powerful duo extending the band’s musical range and vocal styles fueled by shredding guitars of Sergei Metalheart and Amit Fortus and driven by heavy rhythm section charged by bassist / vocalist Guy Schwartz and drummer Aviram Zeevy.
The duo is unpacking the polarizing tension of living through constant conflict. In a misshapen mirror image of the political dynamics of the day, the two singers square off to the thunderous beat of the song's heavy rhythm section. They exchange accusations and denounce the others' narrative. In the end, there is no resolution, only the unified march, and suffering of those condemned to live under these circumstances.
Following its hit video Tomorrow's Rain, Israel power house Oceans on Orion released a new smashing single LOVE on March 31, 2022. This new video is the energetic follow-up work as a part of the Oceans on Orion's upcoming debut album.
Mixing modern metal with pop influences LOVE explores how our relationships force us to wear masks and the consequences of taking them off. The song's dynamic vocal performance features soaring clean melodies, deep growls and three part harmonies. A nostalgic bow to late 2000's emo reinterpreted in today's modern metal aesthetic.
On March 8, 2022, Fisher Brothers and the Human Tribe released a new single - HOW MUCH HOW MANY HOW LONG.
Inspired by PETE SEEGER, and the blues-rich Mississippi Delta, the song reminds us of the importance of passing the torch on to our children, as they will inherit the
world we give them.
Roger wants the world to stand and give voice to the power that will rid us of the shadows of Darkness that would destroy us.

Oceans on Orion, modern metal band from Israel, released Tomorrow's Rain video on the 7th of January. They're kicking off the countdown to their debut album release with a music video shot by the Dead Sea.
Tomorrow’s rain offers a promise and demands a price. The bittersweet end of a relationship, in the pursuit of something bigger. It’s an anthem for what the future holds, the promise of rain in the driest of places. Filmed at the dead sea, the video offers a haunting unearthly view. The band hovers like ghosts over saline, dead water, confronting their own reflections, calling for tomorrow’s rain.
