Plush Drops New Music Video "Run" While Taking Over Japan By Storm Still shot from "Run," directed by Chase Warren

All-female rock sensation Plush recently wrapped up their first headlining Find The Beautiful Tour, following an epic, 23-show arena series with Disturbed and Falling In Reverse earlier this year. Plush closed the touring year by heading over the ocean to shake up Japan, where they played a special show in Okinawa on October 5, 2024, at the Futenma Flight Line Fair

Right before leaving for The Land Of The Rising Sun, Plush has dropped a new music video for their smashing hit "Run," directed by Chase Warren. The song held a spot on the Billboard Top 40 Mainstream Rock Chart for several weeks and is featured on their latest EP, Find the Beautiful, which was released in January under Pavement Entertainment.

The song starts with frontwoman Moriah Formica delivering a strong, intimate message of a painful breakup with someone who wouldn’t let her go but who did cause the relationship to become toxic and completely impossible to continue. Running away as fast as she can is the only solution, and as the story progresses, this proclamation is amplified with more energy and musical intensity. The theme of liberating oneself from a negative person or situation resonates with the experiences of so many listeners, making this story absolutely relatable and deeply personal.

Moriah Formica says, “I wrote ‘Run’ about removing yourself from a toxic person or thing in your life.”

The video setting places the band in an old urban building inside a large, loft-type apartment, mixing the group performance with the scenes where each member is separated in their own part of the building: bassist Ashley Suppa stuck in some narrow stairway, lead guitarist Bella Perron is left alone in a small tiny room, and the drummer Faith Powell is being pushed to the dark corner, while Moriah Formica continues to belt out her story behind some thick metal bars before they return to the main large and well-lit room to express their liberation and unity,

Music video director Chase Warren could not find a better location to artistically use such an authentic urban environment as a colorful undelaying canvas. It helps Plush highlight their stage presence and reveal the spirit of their live shows, capturing the band’s electrifying intensity.

Just before the "Run" music video was released and started gaining viral traction on YouTube and social media, Plush completed their first headline tour for Find the Beautiful, which spanned 26 states. The last show was in Clearwater, Florida, after they rocked a total of 38 shows,11 of which were sold out.

To commemorate this historic tour, Plush has a limited number of signed posters available on their website:

For the band, this story would only be complete with a smashing performance in Okinawa, Japan, on October 5, 2024, at the Futenma Flight Line Fair, where fans greeted Plush with joyful energy and thrilling enthusiasm. Something that echoed the overwhelming success of The Runaways in Japan in 1977.

To thank their Japanese fans and followers, Plush has issued a special, limited version of the Find The Beautiful EP with Japanese lyrics, which is available here:

Do you remember US self-released hard rock / heavy metal CDs from the 1990s? Man, they were great things themselves, and far more often than not contained simply great music. Music for which record labels at that grunge times had no sympathy at all — but that music was still very interesting, not only for keen record collectors, myself included. Ask any respected hard’n’heavy lover about such CDs from early Seventh Omen or Vamp Le Stat, for example, and see (or hear?) what happens.

In a time marked by global unrest, rising conflicts, and deepening divisions, music remains one of the last sanctuaries for truth and emotional reckoning. For many artists, the noise of war, destruction, hatred, and polarization is not just a background, it's a call to respond, to process, and to connect. And just like rock icons of the past — from Bob Dylan to Pink Floyd to Metallica — today’s musicians are once again stepping into the role of cultural witnesses, offering not only reflection, but resonance.

The newly released single “WHY” marks a defining moment in PLUSH’s career, merging powerhouse vocals with polished yet aggressive rock production. Co-written by Moriah Formica and David Draiman of Disturbed and co-produced with Grammy-nominated producer Johnny K (Disturbed, SOiL, 3 Doors Down), the track showcases a creative alliance that adds new intensity and emotional depth, establishing PLUSH as a fearless, relevant force pushing modern rock forward.
