Tacoma, WA, June 18, 2025 / Fashion District NW & the LeMay-America’s Car Museum have partnered for the highly anticipated 7th annual Couture & Cars Fashion Show, which is scheduled for Saturday, July 19th, showcasing designers from around the Northwest, representing the region’s vibrant diversity and unique talents.

This extravagant fusion of fashion and luxury cars promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, offering a fresh perspective on couture design and style. Set against the backdrop of historic and modern automobiles at the Lemay-America’s Car Museum, the event provides a dynamic and visually stunning venue that complements the innovative spirit of the show.

By hosting a fashion show in a non-traditional venue, "The Couture & Cars Fashion Show" merges art, culture, and design, creating a platform for local talent to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship. This collaboration highlights the sleek lines, engineering, and aesthetics of automobiles as inspiration for the designers, adding a unique layer of sophistication to the runway and promotes education, innovation, and a rich history of automobile exploration.

Attendees can expect an exceptional experience where the worlds of fashion and automobile intersect and are explored in a dynamic and imaginative way, celebrating innovation and diversity within the fashion industry. "The Couture & Car Fashion Show" is set to make a lasting impression on the audience, elevating the traditional runway show into a one-of-a-kind event.

On this year's journey, “The Couture & Cars Fashion Show” will be accompanied by a vibrant band of Northwest’s designers, who are preparing an unforgettable experience for all travelers on board at the LeMay-America’s Car Museum: Dollhou3e, La’Mama’s Hands, Lysle Style, Santiago Alejandro, Sueño, & Transcend.

Dollhou3e

Dollhou3e: Your life is an art - we think your clothes should be too. At Dollhou3e, we are all about discovering your artistic side. Celebrate your unique taste with garments inspired by one-ofa-kind art pieces crafted in Seattle.

In a landscape of uniformity, we offer vivid statement pieces that spark conversation and joy. Join us in creating connections and community through art-based design.

“I make art for people who aren’t afraid to stand out and follow their own path. History is defined by those who follow their curiosity.”

LA’MAMA’S HANDS

La’Mama’s Hands: Straight out of Texas, La’Mama’s Hands is more than a fashion
brand-it’s a global tapestry woven with artistry, heritage, and soul. With every stitch, La’Mama breathes life into custom, timeless, elevated, and comfortably bold creations that transcend trends and embrace the essence of individuality, and emotions.

Inspired by the rich, diverse fabrics of the world, La’Mama’s Hands curates one-of-a-kind designs that tell stories, celebrate culture, and redefine luxury through comfort. Every piece is crafted with intention, allowing the textiles to speak, the past to inspire, and the future to be shaped by the magical hands of La’ Mama’s Hands.

Lysle Style

Lysle Style originated from her love of sheer, flowing fabrics like tulle, organza, and chiffon, inspired by her ballet background. Her designs focus on layered silhouettes, bold and neutral colors, and versatile pieces that can transition between casual and formal wear.

Incorporating details like ruching, pleating, and flounces, my garments are crafted for women confident in their unique style. The latest collection
draws inspiration from dance movement, landscapes, and textiles, offering interchangeable looks that harmonize creativity and individuality.

Santiago and Alejandro

Santiago and Alejandro: Mexico-born dynamic duo Santiago and Alejandro have been designing together for 17 years. Both men grew up watching their mothers and aunts sew dresses, and later, Santiago attended fashion school. In contrast, Alejandro entered the industry only with the knowledge he gained from his mother’s dressmaking.

Each garment Santiago and Alejandro create is custom, handmade, and reminiscent of old-school high fashion, inspired by the works of Oscar de la Renta and John Galliano. Gowns for weddings, quinceañeras, and pageants are Santiago and Alejandro’s area of expertise, and they love to work with notoriously tricky materials, like chiffon, feathers, and stones. Santiago and Alejandro undoubtedly enjoy a challenge, and they’re not afraid to bring their ideas to life without sketching them first.

Sueño

Sueño: At Sueño, we believe that fashion should not only inspire but also empower. Our designs start with classic silhouettes and end with a distinctive twist, creating pieces that are both timeless and bold. Each item in our collection features at least
one reclaimed element, incorporating thrifted clothing, unique yardage, and unconventional materials.

Our mission is to provide stylish options for those who want to stand out in a crowd, embracing individuality and sustainability. With Sueño, you're not just wearing fashion;
you're making a statement. Join us on a journey to redefine chic—one unique piece at a time.

Transcend

Transcend is a slow fashion brand based in Seattle, founded by Nazia Siddiqui with a mission to blend heritage craftsmanship with modern design and sustainability. Each
Transcend piece is thoughtfully created using natural or upcycled fabrics, crafted by artisans across India and the Pacific Northwest. Known for their elegant silhouettes, deep pockets, and fuss-free comfort, Transcend designs are timeless garments meant to be worn, loved, repaired, and passed on.

Tonight’s showcase features the debut of Transcend’s Made in Washington collection, created entirely from textile waste sourced locally and transformed through the magic of heritage techniques—such as block printing, embroidery, and natural dyeing—by indigenous, refugee, and local artisans. This collection is a bold step toward a circular fashion future and proof that sustainability, beauty, and cultural respect can all walk the runway together.
