"'The Roads' is a story of decisions and consequences," Jonah says. "Each song represents a distinct moment in my ongoing quest to 'figure it out' and what those moments did and continue to do to me. Each is a road that I've taken that has shaped and continues to shape who I am. I hope people can find a piece of themselves in these stories, and I encourage you to listen with an open heart and an open mind. I wrote these songs to land anywhere—take them as they are, or as they are to you."

ABOUT Jonah Kagen

With an inherent contrast in his musical style, Savannah, GA, native Jonah Kagen has developed the instinctive flair of a jazz virtuoso on the guitar while simultaneously crafting lyrics that resonate with audiences, becoming singalong anthems at festivals. Introduced to the guitar at the tender age of six by his musician grandfather through performance videos, Kagen delved into the instrument's technical intricacies. He drew inspiration from guitarist Andy McKee, whose finger-style technique ignited a creative spark within him.

"He opened my eyes to what an acoustic guitar could be," Jonah recalls, as he dove deeper into creating music on his own. "If you can bring somebody something with your music that they can't get anywhere else, there's nothing better than that."

Jonah's debut EP, 'georgia got colder,' released in December 2022 on Arista Records, accompanied by a number of hit singles and followed by 2023 releases of 'Made Up My Mind' and most recent 'The Roads,' brought 24 year old artist to impressive figures of over 215 million global streams and nearly 2.5M monthly Spotify listeners, proving that Jonah Kagen is undoubtedly becoming an exciting new voice bringing undeniable energy and sincerity through his multifaceted sound.
