There’s nothing quite like the energy of a live rock show—the raw vocals, the electrifying guitar solos, the thundering drums, and the undeniable connection between band and audience. It’s a feeling that fans chase, a moment that exists only in that space and time. But what if you could capture that experience and relive it over and over again?

Plush has answered that call with Live USA ’24, an album that transports listeners straight into the heart of their explosive performances.

With this release, the all-female rock powerhouse delivers the next best thing to being in the crowd, giving fans an unfiltered, high-octane experience. As a band that has been making waves in the rock scene with their powerful sound and undeniable presence, Plush has built a reputation for dynamic performances and emotional depth.

Their latest live album features songs from their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album and Find The Beautiful EP, offering a setlist that showcases their range from anthemic rockers to emotionally charged ballads.

Live USA ’24 is not just a collection of live recordings—it’s an invitation to step into the world of Plush, where passion and power collide in the most electrifying way possible.

“When we headed out on tour, there was no plan to record a live album. In fact, we had no idea it was even a possibility until after the tour. Our sound engineer had mic’d a few shows specifically to create reels for social media,” says frontwoman Moriah Formica.  “It was our management, after hearing the reels, that thought it would be an excellent idea to put together a live album. So what you hear is Plush rough and raw. It’s not polished and wasn’t scripted. We’re super excited to bring this live concert experience to our fans!

A Band Born to Perform

Plush burst onto the scene with a clear purpose: to revive fierce, all-women, melody-infused rock and put it back in the spotlight. Comprising four incredibly talented musicians—vocalist Moriah Formica, guitarist Bella Perron, bassist Ashley Suppa, and drummer Faith Powell—the band quickly gained a following for their high-energy performances and musical prowess. From opening for some of rock’s biggest acts—such as Evanescence, Slash, and Disturbed—to headlining their own shows, Plush has proven time and again that they are a force to be reckoned with..

Their debut album introduced the world to their signature blend of modern rock infused with classic influences. Songs like Hate and Better Off Alone established them as a band that could deliver heavy-hitting riffs alongside deeply personal lyrics. With their Find The Beautiful EP, they expanded their sound, offering tracks that explored themes of resilience, self-discovery, and empowerment. But as powerful as their studio recordings are, Plush’s true essence shines brightest in a live setting—where their chemistry, energy, and passion take center stage.

Live USA ’24: A Captivating Experience

There’s an authenticity to a live album that can’t be replicated in a studio. Live USA ’24 captures Plush in their natural habitat—on stage, in front of roaring crowds, giving everything they have to their performance. Each track on the album pulsates with raw energy, immersing listeners in the electricity of a live show. The crispness of Formica’s vocals, the searing intensity of Perron’s guitar work, the steady pulse of Suppa’s bass, and the relentless power of Powell’s drumming create a sonic experience that demands attention.

The setlist is a perfect balance of fan favorites and deep cuts, ensuring that both longtime supporters and new listeners have something to enjoy. Standout moments include the fiery intensity of Run, the anthemic energy of Left Behind, and the haunting vulnerability of Find The Beautiful and Hope it Hurts. Each song is delivered with a passion that makes it clear why Plush has been heralded as one of the most exciting acts in modern rock.

Live USA ’24 wouldn’t be complete without Plush’s electrifying rendition of Heart's Barracuda which blends powerful vocals and searing guitar riffs to honor the original while adding their own modern edge. Their faithful yet refreshed take on this classic rock anthem showcases the band's ability to pay homage to the essence of the song while adding their unique style.

Why Live USA ’24 Matters

Live albums hold a special place in rock history. They serve as time capsules, preserving moments of musical magic that would otherwise fade with the end of a tour. Live USA ’24 does just that—it immortalizes Plush’s growth, strength, and stage presence, offering fans a chance to relive their electrifying performances whenever they want.

In an era where studio production can sometimes overshadow authenticity, Plush reminds us of the sheer power of live music. Their raw, unfiltered approach on this album is a testament to their dedication to the craft, proving that their talent extends far beyond the recording booth. It’s a declaration that rock is alive and well, and Plush is leading the charge.

Live USA ’24 is Plush’s first live album. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Paul Benedetti and recorded by Peter Jones, this release captures the band’s iconic performances from the Find The Beautiful Tour in 2024.

Do you remember US self-released hard rock / heavy metal CDs from the 1990s? Man, they were great things themselves, and far more often than not contained simply great music. Music for which record labels at that grunge times had no sympathy at all — but that music was still very interesting, not only for keen record collectors, myself included. Ask any respected hard’n’heavy lover about such CDs from early Seventh Omen or Vamp Le Stat, for example, and see (or hear?) what happens.

  • Power and Purpose: PLUSH Releases “WHY” with David Draiman (Disturbed) and Johnny K Power and Purpose: PLUSH Releases “WHY” with David Draiman (Disturbed) and Johnny K

In a time marked by global unrest, rising conflicts, and deepening divisions, music remains one of the last sanctuaries for truth and emotional reckoning. For many artists, the noise of war, destruction, hatred, and polarization is not just a background, it's a call to respond, to process, and to connect. And just like rock icons of the past — from Bob Dylan to Pink Floyd to Metallica — today’s musicians are once again stepping into the role of cultural witnesses, offering not only reflection, but resonance.

The newly released single “WHY” marks a defining moment in PLUSH’s career, merging powerhouse vocals with polished yet aggressive rock production. Co-written by Moriah Formica and David Draiman of Disturbed and co-produced with Grammy-nominated producer Johnny K (Disturbed, SOiL, 3 Doors Down), the track showcases a creative alliance that adds new intensity and emotional depth, establishing PLUSH as a fearless, relevant force pushing modern rock forward.

  • Double Vision in Seattle: A Night with Johnny Manchild and VOLORES Double Vision in Seattle: A Night with Johnny Manchild and VOLORES

As part of their “Double Vision Tour,” Johnny Manchild and the Poor Bastards rejoined forces with VOLORES for an unforgettable night of genre-bending rock in Seattle. The performance took place at Funhouse - a staple of Seattle’s music scene - buzzing with anticipation from the moment the doors opened. With a blend of powerhouse vocals, haunting instrumentals, and undeniable stage charisma, both bands left a lasting impression that resonated with every person lucky enough to be there.

Seattle’s vibrant music scene welcomed the two bands with open arms, as VOLORES set the tone with their emotionally charged set, followed by Johnny Manchild and the Poor Bastards, who took the crowd to another level with their explosive energy and musical precision. This show wasn’t just a stop on the tour — it was a night of connection, passion, and celebration of live music in its most electrifying form.

Nestled in the vibrant arts district of New Hope, Pennsylvania, Arete Gallery is proudly presenting a captivating exhibition that fuses the electrifying spirit of rock music with the expressive power of fine art, featuring works of music icons such as John Lennon and Jerry Garcia. Now this unique showcase includes the iconic Ronnie Wood — renowned globally as the legendary guitarist for The Rolling Stones — whose talent as a visual artist reveals an equally profound creative voice.

Opened on January 17, 2025, the exhibition presents a curated selection of Wood's artworks, reflecting his deep-rooted passion for painting and drawing. Before his ascent to rock stardom as a prominent member of the Jeff Beck Group, The Faces and The Rolling Stones, Wood studied at Ealing College of Art, laying the foundation for a parallel career in the visual arts. His pieces often depict fellow musicians, family, and self-portraits, rendered with the same energy and emotion that characterize his music.
